Clearing permissions for use of third party material can be an author's most time consuming task. The following sites may help ease the workload.

Ghostwriting Services
Ghostwriting services are available from the following ASA members. The ASA also offers for sale a paper and sample agreement on ghostwriting. It is recommended that anyone contemplating engaging a ghostwriter purchase and read this paper.

Lynn Santer - ghostwriter, awarded screenwriter, corporate and special event speeches (comic verse a specialty) editing, proof reading, feature script and novel consultation. Published author with corporate and entertainment experience in the US, UK, and Australia.

John Harman - novelist, ghost-writer, scriptwriter, author. John has written for a living all his working life: including journalism, scripts for popular television series; major crime thrillers, published by Headline and many non-fiction books. He has ghost-written twelve books, all of which are published.

Literary Agents
The ASA recommends that the relationship between author and agent should be subject to certain conditions.These are set out in the Free ASA Paper "Literary Agent & Author Agrement", which can be downloaded here.

The Australian Association of Literary Agents(ALAA) lists members of the Association.
Author Advance, "the largest and most complete database of literary agents and agencies on the web" is a database of agents from around the world.

Members of the ASA offering agent services and who are not included in the ALAA list are listed below. The ASA reserves the right to remove the names of any agents whose practices are brought into question by ASA members.
