Australian Author Magazine

Australian Author magazine is the most vibrant source of discussion and commentary about writing and publishing in Australia. It’s the best way to keep up with publishing industry gossip, issues affecting authors, and writers' thoughts on what inspires, concerns and sustains them.

Australian Author is accessible from http://australian-author.org. The magazine is published twice per year in both print and digital formats. All articles are available on the website as AA Singles (PDF only) or as part of their complete AA Edition (in PDF or print format). In addition, AA Online features new, timely commentary on author matters from both local and international sources. Meanwhile, AA Letters gives our audience an opportunity to voice their own comments, ideas and arguments about issues affecting authors today.

All Australian Author content is available free to all members of the Australian Society of Authors, as well as Australian Author subscribers. For everyone else, articles are available for a small fee. AA Letters are freely accessible to everyone.

Members may log in to http://australian-author.org using their email address and the password they use to access the ASA main site. Australian Author subscribers should receive log in instructions upon subscribing. If you are an Australian Author subscriber and do not have your log in details contact the ASA office on (02) 9211 1004 or comms@asauthors.org.
